  This product provides the ability to distribute and replicate file data and entire directories bi-directionally between networked systems regardless of data format. DM3™ ensures that files are synchronized with byte-level changes and is easily integrated and customized to plug into any existing application.  This product is IDC's proprietary differencing and compression solution (FIPS 140-2 Compliant). It provides the mechanism for determining the differences between revisions on the data repository by choosing the most effective differencing and compression algorithms for specific data formats, compressing those differences, propagating them to the remote repositories, then reconstituting the revision by applying the differences to a previous revision.  IDC's CATALOG UPDATER™ (FIPS 140-2 Compliant) when used with DM3™ provides real-time updates to over 7 million National Stock Numbers and over 13 million part numbers on the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS). FLIS is the master database of all active National Stock Numbers used by the Dept of Defense and other government agencies to identify and order equipment and supplies and is accessed by its users via the FED LOG program which is available on CD-ROM or DVD.  This product provides the ability to distribute and synchronize structured, relational data (such as data stores within Oracle, SQL, and other database products) providing multi-directional database replication. SelectiveSync™ can be easily integrated and customized to plug into any existing application. It provides the most time-efficient and cost-effective solution to keep relational data fully synchronized across a distributed or mobile organization.
